Laboratory of Intelligent Interactive Systems

The Laboratory of Intelligent Interactive Systems (LIIS) at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) features a robust hardware infrastructure designed to support research and development in interactive technologies. The core of its computational power is centralized in a Dell PowerEdge T440 server, recently enhanced with an Nvidia Tesla K80 GPU. This system is complemented by high-performance workstations, including four computers equipped with Ryzen 5 processors and RTX 3050 graphics cards, in addition to one unit with a Ryzen 7 processor and RTX 5070 graphics card.

For data visualization, simulations, and presentations, the laboratory is equipped with a large-format video wall and six 4K QLED Smart TVs. The workstations are optimized for researchers’ productivity, featuring peripherals such as mechanical keyboards, precision mice, and headsets. The infrastructure is supported by a high-speed network managed by a dedicated switch, ensuring stable connectivity between all equipment and facilitating collaborative work.

The physical structure of the LIIS was designed to provide a functional and collaborative work environment. The space includes ergonomic furniture, such as multiple tables and twelve chairs, along with support resources like a laser printer and an air conditioning system. This configuration ensures an environment conducive to the continuous development of long-term projects and efficient interaction among the laboratory’s research teams.
